As of right now Ben Affleck is still in the Bat-suit, and he's being the good little trooper chatting up Justice League. Doubtful he'll have too much to say about The Batman, especially with his bro Casey claiming he won't be in it, so Ben has no problem talking about the movie he's guaranteed to appear in. ’BvS’ departed a little bit from the traditional Batman. He started out with all this rage directed at Superman, because of his coworkers who had died in the fight Superman had with Zod. He was holding on to a lot of anger, in a little bit of an irrational way, whereas this is a much more traditional Batman. He’s heroic. He does things in his own way, but he wants to save people, help people. This is more in keeping with the canon of how Batman’s usually been portrayed, and how he’s portrayed vis a vis the Justice League in the comics. This is more the Batman you would find if you opened up your average Batman comic book. Not that it’s average.”
Here's hoping the change isn't too abrupt otherwise it won't make sense. Still, we can hardly be surprised since the goal all along was the lighten the tone of DC Films in general, and Batman is the best place to start. That dude had some serious bloodlust in the last movie.
I still would have liked to see what Affleck's script for The Batman would have produced, because he's a guy who comes to each project with big ideas. And clearly he's put some thought into how the team in Justice League interacts, seeing it as very different from what Joss Whedon did on The Avengers which was just a bunch of bickering...

He’s put in this position of having to reach out, find other people, convincing them to do something. Part of the drama of the movie is the question of whether or not the team is going to come together. It’s very different from the tenor of the last movie.”
His use of the word "multilateralism" is probably why his script for The Batman got thrown out. Just sayin'. Don't need none of that book learnin'! More capes!
