Mark Wahlberg Will Play Daddy Again In 'Instant Family'
Mark Wahlberg just can't get enough of being a daddy. After working with director Sean Anders on Daddy's Home and the upcoming Daddy's Home 2, Wahlberg is joining him for another comedy in which he'll be the patriarch. Variety reports Wahlberg will star in Instant Family, which Anders has already agreed to direct.
Penned by Anders and Daddy's Home co-writer John Morris, Instant Family centers on a couple who decide to adopt a trio of foster kids, only to discover they have no interest in being parented. Couldn't you say that Wahlberg was parenting a bunch of Transformers for a few years, too? I think at this point he's cornered the market on playing tough guys who secretly want to be stay-at-home dads.
Wahlberg will be seen in November in Daddy's Home 2, and in December in awards contender All the Money in theWorld.
