The opening setup for Spider-Man: Homecoming I think is one of the MCU's best. It shows villain Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton), a blue collar guy with a salvaging gig cleaning up after superheroes, getting his livelihood stolen away by Tony Stark. It sets off a simple but believable motivation for Toomes to have a vendetta against Stark, and thus his protégé Peter Parker.
And then we get to see Spider-Man goofing off during his awesome debut in Captain America: Civil War.
Wonder Woman may have had most of the accolades, and rightfully so, this summer but it's Spider-Man: Homecoming that is the highest-grossing superhero movie of the year with a crazy $874M worldwide. With the film getting a digital release today and Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital HD on October 17th, Marvel has put the opening 10 minutes of Spider-Man: Homecoming online for you to check out.
