The 'It' Sequel Now Has A Scary Release Date

Fortunately, you won't have to wait 27 years for the sequel to It, the highest-grossing horror movie of all time. You will have to wait a couple of years, though. New Line Cinema has set a September 6th 2019 release date for It chapter two, and that date makes a lot of sense.

Considering how dominate It has been since opening last month, why fix what obviously isn't broken? Andy Muschietti is yet to be confirmed to return as director, but he's already weighing in on what he'd like to see for the adult Losers Club. Namely, he'd be open to reuniting with Mama star Jessica Chastain as the grown-up Bev.

For now, Muschietti should just keep basking in the spotlight of It's success.  His Instagram is basically the social media equivalent of poppin' corks.
