Nothing suprises me more than the fact that this film looks like something I will like. With the amazing visuals provided by Bejing and it's suburbs and Jackie Chan who does no wrong by me this incantation of the Karate Kid story seems like it'll be more than watchable. I don't know how I feel about Mr. Miyagi telling the kid to bring the fight to the bullies but maybe it'll work. Jaden Smith really doesn't bug me the way he does most people and I think he plays his part well from what we see here. I love the aspect of taking someone completely out of their comfort zone and dropping them somewhere completely foreign than having them challenge the adversity. It may not be the best example but it's a very similar story to 'Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift' Extra points for fitting in Joe Esposito's 'You're The Best Around' in the last scene of the trailer!
