The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn to be Two Movies

I seem to recall a rumor awhile back suggesting that the final book in The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn, would be filmed as two movies similar to the way Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows has been broken up. Now it's been confirmed according to Deadline.com's Nikki Finke.

Breaking Dawn will be shot back-to-back, similar to the final chapters of the Matrix trilogy, beginning in October of this year. The next film, Eclipse, is already completed and due out in June 2010. 

They aren't wasting any time, are they? On the plus side, the sooner these movies come out, the sooner this craze can dry up, leaving my girl Anna Kendrick with more time to make better flicks.
