January comes early for X-men: First Class

Contradicting months of reports that Alice Eve had long since snagged the role of Emma Frost, aka The White Queen, in X-Men: First Class, Deadline reports that January Jones has officially signed on for the part. The smokin' hot actress has been a fixture on hit TV show, Mad Men, since 2007.

The rest of the major casting has also been completed. Zoe Kravitz, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, has been signed to play Angel. I can only assume this is Angel Salvadore, a female mutant and former member of the X-men who has insect-like abilities.

Remember that cute little flick, Son of Rambow, from back in 2008? Well Rambow himself, Bill Milner, will be playing a rebel of a different sort as the younger version of Magneto. Morgan Lily, most prominently featured in 2012 as the daughter of John Cusack and Amanda Peet's characters, will play the younger version of Mystique.

The line-up gets stranger and stranger with the addition of Angel, but I'm going to assume she won't have a huge role. I've never seen Mad Men(I know, shame on me) but January Jones has been a favorite since she burst onto the scene in American Wedding. Check her out in a slept on flick from 2005, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.
