Only falling 36% from last week, Christopher Nolan's dreamy sci-fi flick is now the 7th highest grossing film of 2010 already.
2. Dinner for Schmucks
A hearty meal indeed for Paul Rudd and Steve Carell, as their latest pairing(they last worked together on The 40 Year Old Virgin
3. Salt
4. Despicable Me
Is it too early to say that 2010 has been the year of Steve Carell?
5. Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore- $12.5M
It was always going to be a long shot for this talking pet flick to gain much traction. Not only because of the continued dominance of family films like Despicable Me and Toy Story 3. But also because it's a sequel to a nine year old film that was only mildly successful. By comparison, this sequel was about $9M weaker than the debut of the first, and this had the added benefit of 3-D's higher ticket prices.
6. Charlie St. Cloud
I'm someone who's slowly being won over by star Zac Efron, but part of his becoming a real superstar is showing that he can pull in the audience. Charlie St. Cloud got off to a mild opening, with nearly half of its total being earned on Friday. That means all the young girls ran out to see it opening day, but not many others did.
7. Toy Story 3
8.Grown Ups
9. The Sorcerer's Apprentice
10. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
