) has been offered a role as well but nothing has been signed as of yet.For whatever reason I haven't been able to really get jazzed about Red State. Maybe because I was hoping Smith would fall back into the View Askew universe for his next flick. The cast involved is pretty good, especially if Leo joins up, and I definitely like the idea behind it. I was skeptical of Smith's last film about religion, Dogma
, but it turned out to be one of my favorites. So here's hoping he can do the same here, obviously in a totally different genre.
