Hey, it's Crazy Heart for chicks! At least that's what Country Strong looks like. The Tobey Maguire produced drama stars Gwyneth Paltrow as a washed up country crooner who embarks on a concert tour with an up 'n coming singer(Tron Legacy's Garrett Hedlund) to help jumpstart her career. Along for the ride is her husband and manager(Tim McGraw). Expect a love triangle of some sort to develop, but what I'm most interested in is seeing how Paltrow and Hedlund handle the vocals. Paltrow actually wasn't too bad in the charming but little seen film, Duets.Here's hoping Country Strong gets a wider release than that did. It's due in theaters on December 22nd, 2010.
