Check out the first 5 minutes of 'Megamind'!

As I write this I have yet to watch the five minute clip featured here, and have only seen limited advertising...maybe a trailer or two and I already really dig this flick. Will Ferrell as the villain and Brad Pitt as the hero....couldn't get better. Add to that the awesome track record of CG animated films and superheros and I'm in. The trailer's I've seen just look like so much fun, and isn't that the reason we go to the theaters in the first place? Now, let's watch the clip and see what we think...shall we?



OK, REALLY sold now. I'm loving the bizarro world take on the Superman origin story and there's no better villan then the one you can empathize with. I'm steadily amazed at how well these artists can convey emotion through computer generated pixels the way they do but DAMN are they good at it. Everything clicks in this intro from the dialouge to the design to the music. I for one will be eagerly anticipating the release of this film and will go out on a limb and say it will be more fun than Toy Story 3. What do you think? Am I way off base or kinda money?
