Rumor Mill: Will Smith angry, delays Men in Black 3

First of all, I wouldn't trust the New York Post to tell me the time of day, so believe any of this at your own risk.  The fountain of misinformation known as Page Six is reporting that Will Smith has caused a fit over the script to Men in Black 3, halting production for up to two weeks as he and director Barry Sonnenfeld sort out their differences.  They quote an inside source who had this to say...

'Men in Black 3' has gone on hiatus again, this time for two weeks, after having shut down for a week and started back up. Smith, Sonnenfeld and the producers have been fighting. The start date for filming had already been put off."

The Post then goes on to list all the myriad problems Will Smith has caused over the years. He's such a stinker, that Fresh Prince. He's such a stinker he darn near ruined his own wife's show on TNT. I've been saying it for years and obviously I was right: We need to put a stop to Will Smith now before he can ruin anymore careers.  >sigh<

It didn't take long for Sony Pictures to fire back...

"The only reason production will begin mid-November as opposed to late October is to take advantage of New York State film incentives; suggesting that a disagreement triggered the shift is complete fiction.”

All this comes in the wake of numerous cast additions to the sci-fi threequel, adding Alec Baldin, Sharlto Copley, Gemma Arterton, and possibly Betty White. They'll be joining Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee Jones, and that ruffian Will Smith. I'm more inclined to believe Sony on this one. Money is king, afterall. A two week delay likely won't hurt production all that much, and since casting is obviously still taking place it can only help matters.

In the end none of it will matter. Men in Black 3 will get done. I'll hate it(I've hated 'em all so far!), and that will be the end of it.
