I never got a chance to see Andrew Jarecki's documentary, Why We Fight, but I was a huge fan of his Capturing the Friedmans. If you have a chance to check it out(and are ready to be shocked and appalled), add it to your Neflix queue right now. A year ago he made the move to feature films with All Good Things, based on the 1982 disappearance(and presumed murder) of Kathleen McCormack, wife of billionaire heir Robert Durst.
If you judged based solely on the first half of the trailer, you'd think it was your typical story of social class intruding on a couple's love. It doesn't look like anything special, but I expect the talents of Ryan Gosling(as Durst), Kirsten Dunst(as McCormack), and Frank Langella to raise the bar a bit.
All Good Things will release on December 3rd, 2010. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think of it!
