Sure Shots: Neil Patrick Harris; Betty White/Men in Black 3; Paranormal Activity 2

* Neil Patrick Harris is set to make his directorial debut with 'Aaron and Sarah', a romantic comedy about "a geeky guy and popular girl" who become friends as high school freshmen and have their relationship deepen over the course of four years. Emma Roberts and Josh Hutcherson are attached to star. David O. Russell(Three Kings) had been in talks for the gig, but he'll be busy with the video game adaptation, 'Uncharted: Drake's Fortune'.

* Dammit, when will it stop!? Betty White is reportedly in talks to join Barry Sonnenfeld's Men in Black 3 in an undisclosed role. If they cast her as a mummy with a potty mouth they wouldn't have to waste time on make-up or a stunt double. Seriously, people. She's not funny. You only like her because she's old.

* Paranormal Activity 2 on IMAX? Why? Oh yeah. Higher ticket prices. Paramount and IMAX have confirmed that the horror sequel will be released on IMAX theaters on October 22nd. I thought IMAX was for big, high action blockbusters? Are we reaching the point where slow moving, micro budgeted indie flicks now get the treatment? Whatever.
