I haven't been paying much attention to the production of Liam Neeson's latest thriller, Unknown. All I remember is that it had a different title originally(Unknown White Male), and that it features him as a guy who wakes up from a coma to discover that his entire life has been stolen. His wife, played by Mad Men's January Jones, doesn't recognize him and she's currently married to another guy using his name. Now we're getting a look at the trailer, and it has a sortof Taken vibe to it. Starts off with a simple question, "Is he who he says he is"?, then jumps right into car chases and action sequences. I'm liking what I'm seeing. The film was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who most recently helmed the twisty thriller, Orphan.
Unknown should be released on January 7th, 2011. Check out the trailer and judge it for yourself!
