The trailer has been released for And Everything is Going Fine, Steven Soderbergh's documentary on actor, essayist, and playwright Spalding Gray. Gray, who passed away in 2004 from an apparent suicide after years of clinical depression, had worked with Soderbergh in 1996 on the film, Gray's Anatomy, really just an extended monologue on his attempts to find treatment for an eye condition he had developed. After Gray's death, his widow asked Soderbergh to make a film on his life.
And Everything is Going Fine opens on December 10th. Here's hoping we get it here in DC.
