Trailer Time: Soul Surfer, starring Dennis Quaid and AnnaSophia Robb

If you don't know anything about the story of Bethany Hamilton, then the path this trailer for Soul Surfer takes will probably surprise the hell out of you. Bethany is a competitive surfer who had to have her arm amputated after a shark attack. The film features her struggle to deal with the new terms of her life and find the courage to get back into surfing.

I'll gloss over the fact that Sean McNamara(Into the Blue 2, Bratz) is directing since I love the cast involved. AnnaSophia Robb(Bridge to Terabithia)  I think is an actress on the rise. Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt co-star as her parents who help her overcome her fears. Carrie Underwood(in her feature debut)and Kevin Sorbo(a surfin' Hercules?) are along for the ride as well.
