I'm wondering if half the people on Twitter tonight were even watching the damn Super Bowl, because it seemed like all they were doing was posting the TV spots for this year's upcoming flicks. The commercials this year were awful, but I have to admit the movie ads were pretty hot. We got our first real video look at Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as a kick-ass Transformers: Dark of the Moon spot with Optimus Prime slicin' his way through an army of Decepticons. In particular, I liked the Rio spot, which really showcased the music and bright animation which looks like the film's biggest selling points. Pay attention to the spot for The Adjustment Bureau, because now that I've seen the movie I think the marketing for this flick is going to be pretty tough, but this simple teaser does a good job of whetting your appetite without giving away too much detail.
With all the beer and red meat we consumed tonight I have no doubts that you missed one or two of these ads rushing to the bathroom, so for your enjoyment we've got them all rounded up here!
