1st look at Ewan McGregor in Jack the Giant Killer!
Shooting on Bryan Singer's Jack the Giant Killer is finally underway after what to me seemed like an eternity. I think the first rumblings about the film started back in 2009 if my memory recalls. The story centers around a long-standing peace between men and giants. The truce is broken when the king's daughter(Eleanor Tomlinson) is kidnapped. A young farmer(Nicholas Hoult) takes up the challenge of leading the expedition into the giants' land to rescue her. Ian McShane is to play the king; Stanley Tucci is his treacherous advisor; Ewan McGregor is the leader of the king's royal guard; Bill Nighy and John Kassir are the two-headed leader of the giants.
