Even if they cast two of the Tributes in The Hunger Games every other day, this crap is going to take awhile. With so many of the roles needing to be filled, they can't be all gems. Such as today, where two more unknowns, Ian Nelson and Kalia Prescott, have been cast as the District 3 Tributes. They don't even get names, so don't expect them to last long. That makes eight Tributes cast, 16 to go.
They'll join a spectacular looking cast in the adaptation of Suzanne Collins' wildly popular series of novels: Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, possibly John C. Reilly, Dayo Okeniyi, Amandla Stenberg, Leven Rambin, Jack Quaid, and Paula Malcomson. Gary Ross will direct.
The Hunger Games is due to hit theaters on March 23rd, 2012!
