Mia Wasikowska is set to play India, while Nicole Kidman is her mom. Back in February Colin Firth appeared to be the top choice to play the uncle, but now it appears he's moved on, with one of his A Single Man 
co-stars taking his place.Variety broke the news that Matthew Goode, who played Firth's lover in the 2009 film by Tom Ford, has entered talks to replace him. Goode is probably best known for his role as the evil Ozymandias in Watchmen
. He was also one of the top choices to play Superman before losing out on that role to Henry Cavill. Goode is considerably younger than Firth, so I wonder if any changes to the script will be made to reflect that. The story was dreamed up and written by Prison Break
