I don't if on it's own David Fincher's version of
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
would be that big of a seller here in the United States. But after the high energy red band and regular trailer we've seen, I'm convinced the marketing will really turn people on to it by the time it releases in December. Adding to that is the new international poster for the film, which I'm convinced is part of a larger campaign by Sony Pictures. The red band trailer was "leaked", and now a photo of a very not safe for work international poster was taken which...well, see if you can spot it for yourself...
Yep, that is indeed Rooney Mara's pierced nipple showing there. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I don't get turned on by Goth chicks, but a nip is a nip. I love it, and the very "in your face" nature of it goes right along with the trailers.
