That film is Sarah's Key, based on Tatiana de Rosnay's novel about a journalist(Kristen Scott Thomas) investigating Vel' d'Hiv Roundup, the mass arrest of over 13,000 Jews in Paris by the Nazis in 1942. Her life becomes entwined with that of Sarah, who as a little girl protected her brother from capture by locking him away in their closet, taking the key with her. Seventy years later, the events of that day come crashing into the present.Sarah's Key is directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner(Pretty Things
