Ryan Gosling is everywhere it seems. Between he and his Crazy, Stupid, Love co-star Emma Stone you can't go a week without them showing up somewhere or adding another project to their packed schedules. Taking a break from the relentless cad he plays in this weekend's romantic comedy, Gosling's next film is the star-studded political thriller, The Ides of March. Directed by, starring, and co-written by George Clooney, the film is based on Beau Willimon's stage play Farragut North. It follows an influential campaign press secretary(Gosling) who finds himself swimming with the political sharks while managing the run of a Democratic Presidential candidate(Clooney). Marisa Tomei, Paul Giamatti, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, and Max Minghella round out a cast that certainly appear on the verge some serious awards consideration.
The Ides of March opens on October 7th!
