After two fairly well-received collaborations between Channing Tatum and director Dito Montiel(Fighting, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints), their latest offering, The Son of No One has slipped quietly off the radar. It'd due to hit theaters in just over a week, but does anybody know about it? Nope. Will we get a chance to screen it? Probably not. A shame, really, because it does pack a pretty good cast, including Katie Holmes, Al Pacino, Ray Liotta, Juliette Binoche, and Tracy Morgan.
The plot has remained pretty thin, but what we know is that Tatum stars as a young cop assigned to the neighborhood in Queens where he grew up. Working hard to provide for his wife(Katie Holmes) and family, his life is threatened when an old secret involving a murder and possible police cover up creeps to the surface.
