CSI: Miami's Rex Linn joins Django Unchained

I don't really get into crime procedurals on TV. Law & Order is boring. Criminal Minds is an exception because it's so wickedly awful I can't ignore it. I don't know what the heck an NCIS is. CSI is far and away the most popular of the bunch, but I've seen exactly two episodes of the show ever. Which ones were those? The two directed by Quentin Tarantino.

QT is plucking yet another star from a popular TV series for a small part in Django Unchained, bringing aboard CSI: Miami's Rex Linn to play the role of Tennessee Harry. Linn has appeared in his share of flicks as well, including Appaloosa and American Gun.  I'm not about to rundown the massive list of folks filling out the incredible cast, so let's just look at the television icons only. Alongside Linn there's Don Johnson(Miami Vice), Gerald Mcraney(Major Dad), and Tom Wopat(The Dukes of Hazzard). What, no Mark Harmon or Scott Bakula?

Django Unchained hits on December 25th 2012. [Deadline]
