*Until I see an official confirmation, I'm going to take this with a grain of salt. An extra on the set of The Dark Knight Rises tweeted the presence of Desmond Harrington on set, dressed in the blues of a Gotham City police officer. Harrington plays Quinn on the hit Showtime series, Dexter.
* The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey still has more than a year before it rolls into theaters, but according to star Andy Serkis, we may be seeing the trailer well before that. Like in a month. He tells IGN Movies that we'll see it "around Christmas time". Considering it's being directed by Peter Jackson, does that mean it'll be attached to Jackson's The Adventures of Tintin? Let's hope so!
* I didn't have the love for Tangled that most other people had. I felt like the conventional story was a poor match for the beautiful, painted animation. But since the film made north of $600M worldwide, it makes sense that Disney would want to keep the characters fresh in our minds for the inevitable sequel. They'll begin to do just that with the release of Tangled Ever After, a short film that will be attached to the 3D re-release of Beauty and the Beast. The story follows a frenzied, chaotic search for the lost golden bands, needed for the wedding of Rapunzel(Mandy Moore) and Flynn(Zachary Levi). Nathan Greno and Byron Howard are back to direct, along with the primary voice vast. Disney starts counting up their beastly cash on January 13th 2012.
