Every time I see funnyman Simon Pegg(Shaun of the Dead) as Benji Dunn, tech geek and de factor comic relief in the Mission: Impossible flicks, it makes me think how awesome he'll be if an adaptation of The Boys ever gets off the ground. The Boys is the uber-violent, supremely funny comic book by Garth Ennis about a team of super powered agents making the lives of superheroes miserable. We'll see if Adam McKay ever gets it off the ground.
For now we have Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol, which sees Pegg, Tom Cruise, Paula Patton, and the rest of the IMF team blamed for a terrorist attack in Moscow, only to have it revealed to be a cover so that the team can work in secret to root out the real threat. In the latest clip, Ethan Hunt(Cruise) is ad-libbing his own plan, but can't do it without the help of Benji Dunn(Pegg). Check it out below...
Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol opens in IMAX on December 16th, before rolling out everywhere else on December 21st.
