Trailer Time: Wish You Were Here, starring Joel Edgerton and Teresa Palmer
Even before Joel Edgerton catapulted to stardom last year with the Aussie crime thriller, Animal Kingdom, he and a group of his colleagues had already made names of themselves a couple of years earlier at Sundance Film Festival with The Square, which Joel wrote and was directed by his brother, Nash. Along with actor Kieran Darcy-Smith, Animal Kingdom director David Michod, and Hesher director Spencer Susser, they've formed their own production company called Blue Tongue Films. Now they're coming back to Sundance with much more cache than ever before, with another thriller called Wish You Were Here, directed by Darcy-Smith.
Starring Joel Edgerton, Teresa Palmer(Take Me Home Tonight), co-writer Felicity Price, and Anthony Starr, the story centers on four friends who take a vacation in Cambodia, only to have one of them not return home under mysterious circumstances. As the truth of what happens begins to come to light, the relationship between the remaining friends starts to unravel. No US release date for it at this point, but it will premier at Sundance next month. Check out the trailer below....
