Ugghhh...another tease for a teaser trailer. This is the future, people, and it sucks rhino balls. The latest eye blink of a trailer is for Len Wiseman's Total Recall remake, a film I don't think anybody was clamoring for but is here nonetheless, ready to be buried under the summer blockbuster swarm. But you know what? It doesn't look half bad.
Only thirty seconds in length, we only get a small glimpse at the futuristic world described in Philip K. Dick's short sci-fi novel, and it looks mighty impressive. A little but like Coruscant in terms of the cityscape and all the flying cars. Oh, and there's Kate Beckinsale in a sexy rear view as the world explodes behind her. Sweet. Colin Farrell's there, too, but he's not nearly as much fun to look at.
So maybe all those nasty things we've been saying about Len Wiseman's directing skills were...can it be....wrong? Eh, we'll find out on August 3rd. Check out the tease below, and look out for the whole thing on Sunday.
