Trailer Time: 'Bending the Rules', starring Adam "Edge" Copeland and Jamie Kennedy

It must suck to be a WWE superstar with a dream of someday acting in movies. Especially if your name isn't John Cena or Triple H. Seriously, only the poster children get the "good" stuff, or at least the roles that aren't immediately laughable. You think the Big Show was happy about Knucklehead? Probably not, and his grinning mug is going to be on the cover of that DVD forever. All dressed up in a friggin' diaper. Even a former World Heavyweight champion like Adam "Edge" Copeland is left with the scraps. Such is the case with Bending the Rules.

The recently retired Copeland will pair up with Jamie Kennedy in a buddy cop comedy about a New Orleans cop on trial for corruption, who must somehow solve a case working alongside the District Attorney in charge of putting him behind bars. Oil meets water, and hilarity supposedly ensues. Edge is a genuinely funny, charismatic guy, and he's actually been pretty good in numerous TV roles in the past, but this looks dreadful. Pity the talented supporting cast looking to make next month's mortgage payments: Philip Baker Hall(Boogie Nights), Alicia Witt(Cecil B. Demented), and Jessica Walter(Arrested Development).

The film will open in nine cities on March 9th, before hitting DVD and Blu-Ray like five minutes later. Check out the trailer below...
