Westerns have made a huge comeback lately, and for the most part they've been pretty good when aliens are left out of the picture. True Grit, Blackthorn, Rango, and hopefully Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained have all brought what is the most American of movie genres back into the spotlight. Now another one is on the way and it doesn't look too shabby despite the mouthful of a title.
The Legend of Hell's Gate: An American Conspiracy tells the "true" story of how Possum Kingdom Lake in Texas earned the nickname "Hell's Gate". Because I'm sure we were all wondering about that. Eric Balfour, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Henry Thomas play three outlaws in the 1870s who must fight their way through some of the West's most notorious figures to claim their fortune and fame.
