A couple of months ago we learned that Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn would team up to star in a new comedy for the first time since Wedding Crashers way back in 2005. At the time, the film was known as Interns, based on a script by Vaughn and picked up by 20th Century Fox after Universal passed on it. Shawn Levy was the final piece of the puzzle, coming aboard to direct after his Frankenstein project fell through due to budget concerns.
Fox has finally gotten around to confirming the film, now known as The Internship. The workplace laugher will have Wilson and Vaughn as two middle aged company guys who get laid off from their sales jobs, and looking reinvent themselves take entry level jobs at a Google-esque tech firm.
Filming is set to begin this summer.
