Continuing the daily build to Thursday's Looper trailer, today saw the release of the second tease featuring some brief footage from the film. Just like before, the bulk features Joseph Gordon-Levitt and director Rian Johnson discussing the sci-fi actioner's tone, which they compare to a "down to earth" Blade Runner.
In the future world of Looper, time travel has been perfected, but is only used illegally by criminal outfits. When they want to do away with somebody, rather than gunning them down in the streets, they send them back in time to the present where they can be disposed of without leaving a trace. Gordon-Levitt plays one of these hit men, known as a "looper", but he gets more than he bargained for when his latest target turns out to be an older version of himself, played by Bruce Willis.
