Terrence Howard joins Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace in 'Dead Man Down'

It's not often that we get to see the soft spoken...ok, squeaky voiced Terrence Howard play a bad guy. Mainly because nobody's going to fear a guy who sounds the way he does. Typically we see him play mean guys with a soft, gushy middle, like in Fighting or Hustle and Flow, the latter for which he earned an Oscar nomination. With his latest role, Howard will be a total heel as Variety reports he's joined the cast of the promising thriller, Dead Man Down.

Niels Arden Oplev is directing, reunited with Noomi Rapace in the film which also boasts Colin Farrell and the newly cast Dominic Cooper. The story follows a mysterious insider(Farrell) who begins sabotaging the business and picking off the soldiers of a feared crime lord(Howard). J.H. Wyman(The Mexican) wrote the script.

News on this one really started to emerge while I was away, and apparently it's set to start filming later this month.
