Well, Terry Crews promised it to us, and now here it is. The full trailer for The Expendables 2, and it's exactly what you thought it would be. Sylvester Stallone gets the ball rollin' by introducing his own team of aging Avengers, who are tasked with...aww, who cares? They blow stuff up real good while cracking some of the worst puns in history.
That said, The Expendables 2 looks far and away better than the previous film, which had about 15 minutes of great action and a laughably terrible script that went nowhere. At least here, the bad dialogue appears to be intentional, such as Jason Statham's awful "I now pronounce you man and knife!". And of course you can't have Arnold Schwarzenegger in an expanded role without an "I'm back!" thrown in there as well. Yes, it's cheesy, but isn't that what everybody's expecting?
Stallone, Statham, Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Liam Hemsworth, Terry Crews, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal(where was he in this!?), Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Yu Nan will light up theaters on August 17th....[IGN]
