Liam Neeson is back as the retired but extremely dangerous(how perfect would he be in Red?) ex-agent, Bryan Mills, and this time it won't be his precious family that's in jeopardy. For Taken 2, Bryan finds himself in the crosshairs of a familiar enemy.
A new poster for the film has been released, and it's simple and straight forward just like 2008's Taken turned out to be. This time around, Bryan and his wife(Famke Janssen) are taken hostage while vacationing in Istanbul(mistake #1 right there). Their captor turns out to be the father of a man Bryan killed in the last film, seeking revenge for his son's death. The only one Bryan can rely on to save them is his previously kidnapped daughter, Kim(Maggie Grace).
Of course he'll get free, and proceed to use his advanced special forces techniques, and good ol' fashioned bone breaking, to exact a bit of cold payback on his foes. The awesomely named Olivier Megaton(Transporter 3) will direct when Taken 2 hits theaters on October 5th. [Empire]
