* Between Julia and Julia, Eat Pray Love, and now this, somebody has figured out that women like movies about food. Gwyneth Paltrow is set to star in Blood, Bones, & Butter, based on Gabrielle Hamilton's foodie memoir following her unconventional journey to becoming the owner of acclaimed New York restaurant, 'Prune'. We've been seeing Paltrow mostly in Iron Man movies for the last few years, so it's good to see her taking on something where she can truly stand out, and considering she's a cook book author and friends with chef Mario Batali, this seems like a perfect fit. * Kristen Bell is set to star in the indie drama, The Lifeguard, in which she plays a New York reporter who, upon hitting the age of 30, leaves her life behind and moves back to her suburban hometown. Reclaiming her old high school job as a local lifeguard, she enters into a misguided relationship with a 16-year old. I like the sound of this only because we haven't seen Bell do much that required her to do more than be hot and funny. Let's see what else she's got. Liz W. Garcia wrote the script and will direct. Martin Starr, Alex Shaffer, Amy Madigan, and Mamie Gummer co-star. [Deadline]
* We've seen the set photos of the massive Ark being built for Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic, Noah, but the cast he's putting together is pretty darn big, as well. With Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson and more set to star, the latest addition is Marton Csokas(The Debt) in a supporting role. Noah hits theaters on March 28th 2014.
