Final trailer for stop-motion animated 'ParaNorman'

The final trailer has been released for stop-motion animated horror/comedy, ParaNorman, featuring a few brief new scenes and showing once again why this film may be the one to knock Pixar and Dreamworks off their lofty perches. The film comes from the incredibly talented folks at LAIKA, who gave us the Academy Award nominated Coraline just a couple of years ago, and they're tapping into the same bizarre and imaginative energy to create another unique coming-of-age experience.

This trailer shifts the focus away from the abundant humor in the film, and more on the dire mission Norman(voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee) must undertake. John Goodman provides the voice-over as Mr. Penderghast, who had been serving as protector of the town of Blithe Hollow, cursed hundreds of years ago after a literal witch hunt. Norman must pick up the mantle of defender now, and save the town from a horde of zombies and evil spirits.  Anna Kendrick, Casey Affleck, Christopher Mint-Plasse, Jeff Garlin, and Leslie Mann are just some of the actors who lend their voices to the film, which opens in just two days.
