1st look at Marlon Wayans' horror spoof 'A Haunted House'
With Scary Movie 5 coming our way next year it might be tough to remember that another spoof film lampooning the horror genre has been in development for awhile now, and it comes from one of the guys who made Scary Movie popular in the first place. Marlon Wayans' A Haunted House will actually be the first shot out of the gate next year, opening on January 11th, and judging by these newly released pics from our friends at Blackfilm, it's looking like business as usual.
Directed by Michael Tiddes with a script by Wayans and Rick Alvarez, the film is a send up of Paranormal Activity and pretty much every other found footage horror. So at least it sounds more current than Scary Movie 5, which is still stuck on Black Swan and 127 Hours. Wayans and Essence Atkins(Dance Flick) play Malcolm and Kisha, a couple who move into their dream home only to discover that they're not alone. The house isn't haunted, but instead it's Kisha who has been posessed by a demon feasting on her "relationship baggage", and Malcolm hires everything from a priest to modern day ghostbusters to help save his marriage.
A Haunted House co-stars Cedric The Entertainer, David Koechner, Nick Swardson, Bobbie Lee, Lliana Mendoza, and Dave Sheridan. Check out the photos below....
