Diane Kruger and Anton Yelchin find romance in '5 to 7'

Who doesn't love Happy Hour? Not that I really have traditional work hours anymore, but when I did it was always a highlight to go and spend a couple of hours with colleagues, drinking on the cheap and drowning myself in chicken wings to help forget the horrors of the day. In France and other French influenced areas such as Quebec, happy hour is referred to as cinq à sept, which literally means '5 to 7', which also happens to be the title of the new indie rom-com starring Diane Kruger and Anton Yelchin.

5 to 7 marks the feature directorial debut of Victor Levin, a producer and writer on AMC's Mad Men. Set in New York, Yelchin plays an aspiring writer who has a  cinq à sept affair with the beautiful wife of a French diplomat, played by Kruger. As their love deepens, world views, dietary preferences, cultures, and personal ethics begin to clash. If this were any other pair of actors I probably wouldn't give this a second thought, but Yelchin is a great young actor who showed his romantic leading man cred in Like Crazy. It's also been interesting to watch the subtle shift in roles Kruger has been taking on as she's gotten older. She's come a long way from playing Helen of Troy and hanging out with Josh Hartnett in Wicker Park.

Filming on 5 to 7 begins in February.
