New trailer for Pedro Almodovar's 'I'm So Excited'

If you managed to endure the horrific plane sequence in Robert Zemeckis' Flight, you may be a little reluctant to partake of another film surrounding a jetliner disaster.  But rest assured the only disasters in Pedro Almodovar's I'm So Excited will be of a comical nature.

Venturing about as far away from his disturbing The Skin I Live In as possible, Almodovar has gone back to his roots with a broad, musical comedy with a large and talented ensemble cast. While the previous teaser was little more than a campy rendition of The Weather Girls' titular hit song, this new one provides a bit more insight to the plot....assuming you understand Spanish. At least it also gives a glimpse of Almodovar faves, Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas. The story follows a group of scared and chatty passengers aboard a flight where something terrible has happened.

I'm So Excited opens in Spain on March 8th, then hits U.S. shores later this year....[RTVE]
