Most of what we've heard about Captain America: The Winter Soldier has centered around the new additions to the cast, with little heard about who may be returning. Of course Chris Evans is back, along with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Sebastian Stan steps up to the big time as Bucky takes on a central role. But now we know one more actor who will be back for more, and his return could clue us in to the direction the story takes.
Toby Jones has confirmed he'll be reprising his role as geneticist and engineer Arnim Zola in the superhero sequel. Zola plays a major part in the storyline involving Bucky's transformation into the brainwashed operative known as the Winter Soldier, so this shouldn't come as too big of a surprise. Zola apparently survived the events of the first film, and since we saw blueprint designs of the mechanical body he's most notable for, it stands to reason he'll be donning it when we see him. Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo make up some of the new faces, while we still await who will take on the role of agent Sharon Carter.
Directed by the Russo Brothers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens on April 4th 2014. [HeyUGuys]
