When James Franco appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's show last week, he brought along the first clip from Oz the Great and Powerful. It showed a rather gorgeous scene in which his character, Oscar Diggs, travels to the Emerald City via magic bubble, created by the good witch, Glynda (Michelle Williams). Today brings what appears to be the first part of that clip, as Diggs flops around in his magic bubble as he's accompanied by Glynda, China Girl (Joey King), and Finley the Flying Monkey.
It still looks a lot like Alice in Wonderland, but I trust Sam Raimi to pump a bit more life into it when all is said and done. I like the choices they're making in the footage they're releasing, as well. Oz the Great and Powerful opens on March 8th 2013. [IGN]
