Whether or not you're interested in a biopic on the great Jackie Robinson, you have to admit this is a great poster of 42 star Chadwick Boseman sliding into home. Opening on April 12th, just in time for the MLB season, the film chronicles the Hall of Famer's breaking of the baseball color barrier, and the hardships he faced in the process. Directed by Brian Helgeland, 42 also stars Harrison Ford, Nicole Beharie, Chris Meloni, and Ryan Merriman.
Spring Breakers looks like the trashiest movie ever, and I absolutely can't wait to see it. Three new posters have emerged for the Antoine Fuqua-directed action flick, putting stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman in the spotlight. Touching down on March 22nd, it also stars Angela Bassett, Ashley Judd, Rick Yune, Radha Mitchell, Dylan McDermott, and Melissa Leo.
A new trailer and a June 28th release date secured in the span of a week, Pedro Almodovar has now revealed two new posters for his upcoming comedy, I'm So Exicted. Set entirely on an airplane, the ensemble features Penelope Cruz, Paz Vega, Antonio Banderas and many more who get really drunk and chatty after an incident. The posters match the peppy and colorful tone of the footage we've seen thus far.
And here's a new poster for Emperor, the historical drama starring Matthew Fox alongside Tommy Lee Jones as General Douglas MacArthur. Directed by Peter Webber, the story follows an investigator who must decide if Japan's Emperor Hirohito should face war crimes post-WWII, while simultaneously searching for his long-lost lover. Emperor opens on March 8th.
