New posters for 'The Call' and 'The Last Exorcism Part 2'

You probably didn't notice it last night, but standing on the sidelines during the Super Bowl was WWE star David Otunga, there to watch his wife Jennifer Hudson perform "America the Beautiful". Vince McMahon probably loved it, as he seems intent on making Otunga a star, which is why he's co-starring in The Call, a new psychological thriller starring Halle Berry and directed by Brad Anderson (Transsiberian).

Opening on March 15th, the film stars Berry as a 911 operator who takes a call from a kidnapped girl in the back of a car trunk. Realizing that the culprit is a dark figure from her past, the operator works with the girl to help track down her abductor. The trailer looked pretty bland, but the one-sheet design is pretty clever.  Otunga plays a cop who will likely get killed, while Abigail Breslin is the kidnapped gal.

Also, a new poster for The Last Exorcism Part 2 has debuted, and while it looks like just another shot of Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) in the grip of a demonic spirit, there's a lot more going on here. Besides the ominous greyscale coloring, you can see that Nell's arms have been twisted badly out of shape, and there are some nasty lash or bondage marks on her wrists. Yikes.  The Last Exorcism Part 2 arrives on March 1st. [STYD]
