It may be time to stop thinking of WWE Films as the punchline to some bad joke. Slowly but steadily they've managed to become a real player in Hollywood, securing bigger name stars while integrating their wrestling roster in smaller, more effective roles. While they're still waiting for that one breakout hit film, their best shot yet will come when Dead Man Down hits next month.
Starring an incredible cast including Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Terrence Howard, Dominic Cooper, and *holy cow* Isabelle Huppert, the moody thriller from Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) has a seductress (Rapace) blackmailing a hired enforcer (Farrell) into helping her get some revenge. The first clip has emerged over at Comingsoon, and it shows the evidence she'll be using to hold over his head, watching him beat down another man from afar.
Dead Man Down hits theaters on March 8th.
