"The Best Never Rest" but they always show up for the Early Bird Special. A new poster for Red 2, which always sounds like a Star Wars call sign (Red 2 stay on target!!), has been released featuring the heavily-armed cast of characters. Why their backs are to us is beyond me. Maybe those hiding their guns aren't on the side of the angels?
Bruce Willis is back as ex-CIA agent Frank Moses, who finds himself squaring off against former friend Victoria (Helen Mirren) when she's hired by MI6 to take him out. Mary Louise Parker, Brian Cox, and John Malkovich reprise their roles, while new additions include Anthony Hopkins, Lee Byung-hun(G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Catherine Zeta-Jones, and David Thewlis. The plot also includes some sort of globe-hopping search for a nuclear device, which I'm sure will be super important and not at all a MacGuffin.
Directed by Dean Parisot, Red 2 opens on August 2nd.
