Does Peter Dinklage's epic mustache reveal his character in 'X-men: Days of Future Past'?

Either that's one epic mustache Peter Dinklage is sporting in this new set photo from X-men: Days of Future Past, or something died under his nose. Bryan Singer has continued his practice of tweeting tantalizing set photos from the film's set, and this one of an out-of-character Dinklage clearly teases him as Alpha Flight's diminutive hero, Puck.

That is, of course, what the popular wisdom has been all along, mainly because there are only a few vertically-challenged characters in the Marvel Universe to choose from. This would contradict some earlier rumors that pegged Dinklage as one of the film's villains, but it's always possible that Singer put this image out there to confuse the situation. In fact, that's probably the exact reason why he did it. Unfortunately, Dinklage's character wasn't one of the many resolved mysteries Singer has cleared up in the last few weeks. It stands to reason that he's being kept in secret for a very good reason.

X-men: Days of Future Past stars...well, pretty much everybody and hits theaters on July 18th 2014.
