New posters for 'Ender's Game', 'The Smurfs 2', 'The Internship', and 'Maniac'

The latest poster for Gavin Hood's adaptation of Ender's Game puts stars Asa Butterfield and Harrison Ford in the spotlight. It's the complicated relationship between Ender Wiggin, here seen in his Battle Suit, and Colonel Graff that is the driving force of the story, which is set in a future where special kids are selected to attend Battle School. There they are trained from morning until night, enduring incredible hardships, to fight the threat of the Formics, bug-like aliens waging war against humanity. Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Moises Arias, and Abigail Breslin star when the film opens on November 1st.

Oh, and you forgot about The Smurfs 2, didn't you? You thought it had somehow magically disappeared because this summer is packed to the rafters with superhero movies and big budget sequels? Unfortunately, it's still happening and these two smurfin' lame posters are here to remind you of it. The bad guys, voiced by Christina Ricci and JB Smoove aren't just giving "bunny ears" to Smurfette and Grouchy Smurf, they're figuratively giving it to us all because they know the film will likely rake in a cool $600M, just like the first one inexplicably did.  The ultra-talented Hank Azaria will dumb himself down again as Gargamel, joined by Katy Perry, Anton Yelchin, Neil Patrick Harris, Sofia Vergara, Alan Cumming.....and some other folks. The Smurfs 2 opens on July 31st. Bear in mind that a third one is already in the works, but if we nip this in the bud now it may never happen!

There's really only one reason to get excited about The Internship, and that's the reunion of Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. The Wedding Crashers duo are back for a film that looks...well, sorta pedestrian, to be honest. They play middle-aged guys who are laid off from their jobs, take up an internship at Google, and proceed to go Old School on a bunch of young upstarts. By that I mean the plot basically mimics Old School from there on out, like every Vaughn film tends to do.  Shawn Levy is directing this one, with Rose Byrne, Max Minghella, John Goodman, Aasif Mandvi, Dylan O'Brien, and Jessica Szohr co-starring. The Internship opens on June 7th.

Two new posters have been released for Elijah Wood's horror remake, Maniac, directed by Franck Khalfoun. Wood puts on another creepy role as Frank Zito, a serial killer with a fetish for mannequins and bloody scalps. Maniac opens in theaters, VOD, and ITunes on June 21st. [BloodyDisgusting]
